Winners of Schibsted Sales Awards 2011

On Friday night about 600 sales people from Schibsted Media Group were gathered in Barcelona. Hanne Ulleberg from Aftenposten won the prestigious title "Salesperson of the Year" and received her award from CEO Rolv Erik Ryssdal.

The Sales Person of the Year 2011 has a record of very good results combined with a high activity level. She works closely with her customers and is very concerned with their success. She is creative, and she’s not only regarded as a salesperson, but also as an advisor. The Salesperson of the Year is a dedicated team player who helps her colleagues achieve success

Sales Performance of the Year: VG Print with two cases: Sommerkampanjen and Møbelringen

With strong focus on customer insight and by applying analysis as a tool this year’s winners have, with the use of facts, managed to convince the customer of the benefits of announcing in their media. The winners of the Performance of the Year 2011 are creative thinkers who achieve results.

Sales Department of the Year: Finn Konsernkunder

The Sales Department of the Year 2011 has had a very strong year, almost doubling its revenues. In a very short time the Sales Department of the Year has managed to establish a positive performance culture and has delivered important contributions to their company’s success in brand advertising.

Sales Manager of the Year: Peter Bertilson, Svenska Dagbladet

The Sales Manager of the Year 2011 is close to his customers and their businesses. He is a key person for the entire company that he works for and a good role model as a leader. He is fearless and dares to challenge both his salespeople and the customers. Together with his team the Sales Manager of the Year creates fantastic results.

Sales Organization of the Year: VG Multimedia

The Sales Organization of the Year 2011 has had a fantastic year with great results. With a strong focus on performance, high activity level, cultivating new customers and lower discounts, the Sales Organization of the Year is a very worthy winner.

The Jury’s Honorary Award: CEO Gunilla Asker and Editor-in-Chief Lena K. Samuelsson from Svenska Dagbladet

The winners of the Jury’s Honorary Award 2011 always put the customers and sales first. They see the relation between customer insight, brand-building and product development and put it into practice. They are great role models who instill respect.
