Program Schibsted Journalism Awards 9. juni

Her er programmet for årets Schibsted Journalism Awards. Arrangementet finner sted i Oslo Konserthus torsdag 9. juni 2011.

Arrangementet er åpent for presse som måtte ønske å dekke de aktuelle foredragene eller selve prisutdelingen som finner sted fra 19.45-20.30.

Konferansier for dagen er Ingrid Bjørnov.

Schibsted Journalism Awards

Schibsted Journalism Awards ble opprettet i 2007 for å hedre eksempler på forbilledlig journalistikk i form av tekst, foto, lyd eller levende bilder.

Det konkurreres om tre priser - hver av dem på 200.000 kroner:

beste historie

beste nyskapning

beste avsløring

Publisert redaksjonelt materiale fra konsernets journalister og fotografer i alle land der Schibsted driver redaksjonell virksomhet vurderes av en tverrnasjonal fagjury. Utdelingen og et journalistseminar for 250 redaksjonelle medarbeidere finner sted hvert år.

10:30 Telling more than a thousand words. VG’s experienced photographer Harald Henden documenting the journalistic power of the pictures

11:15 Presentation of the nominees in the category Best Scoop.

11:25 Finding scoops everywhere. Aftenposten’s investigative reporter Per Anders Johansen on the Wikileaks cables and other scoops.

13:00 Presentation of the nominees in the category Best Innovation.

13:10 #talkaboutit. Johanna Koljonen and Sofia Mirjamsdotter on their successful initiative on talking about sex and sexuality on social media.

13:45 What’s your idea? SINTEF, Scandinavia's largest not-for-profit research institute, has led a project on what drives extraordinary idea work and creativity. Presented by senior scientist Arne Carlsen and Gudrun Rudningen, scientist.

14:30 Publish and be damned! Chief editor in Aftonbladet Jan Helin on the limits, or no limits, of journalism.

15:15 Coffee Break.

15:30 The story never told. New York Times’ reporter David Rohde was a prisoner of Taliban in Afghanistan for seven months until he managed to escape. US media did not break the hostage story.
